Instructions
Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes while you prepare other ingredients.
Prepare the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, beef broth, and sesame oil.
Set aside for later use in the stir-fry.
Blanch the Broccoli
In a pot of boiling water, add the broccoli florets and blanch for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
Cook the Beef
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned.
Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
Sauté Garlic and Ginger
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil.
Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Combine Ingredients
Return the cooked beef to the skillet and add the blanched broccoli.
Pour in the prepared sauce and toss everything together, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
