Burrata Bruschetta Recipe

For the Bruschetta:

  • 1 French baguette or ciabatta loaf
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Tomato Mixture:

  • 1 tablespoon red onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

Prepare the Baguette

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread

  • Arrange the slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Make the Tomato Mixture

  • In a bowl, combine halved cherry tomatoes, red onion (if using), minced garlic, chopped basil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss to combine and let sit for 5 minutes.

Assemble the Bruschetta

  • Remove the toasted bread from the oven. Place a generous spoonful of the tomato mixture on each slice.

Top with Burrata

  • Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place them on top of the tomato mixture on each bruschetta.

Drizzle and Garnish

  • Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze if desired. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.

Serve Immediately

  • Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and enjoy while the bread is warm!
