Ingredients

Scale

For the Cranberry Camembert Puffs

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 4 oz camembert cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (chopped, optional for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Puff Pastry

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll Out the Pastry: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to ensure it’s even. Cut the pastry into 24 small squares using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.

Assemble the Puffs

  1. Add Cheese and Cranberry: Place a small cube of camembert in the center of each pastry square, followed by a small spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  2. Fold the Pastry: Gently fold the corners of each square towards the center, pinching lightly to secure them.
  3. Brush with Egg Wash: Brush the tops of the pastry squares with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Bake the Puffs

  1. Transfer to Baking Sheet: Arrange the assembled puffs on the lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  2. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the puffs are golden brown and puffed up.

Serve

  1. Cool Slightly: Let the puffs cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before serving.
  2. Garnish: Sprinkle with chopped rosemary for an extra burst of flavor and festive look (optional).
