For the Pasta:
12 ounces
penne pasta

pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

cloves garlic, minced

Italian seasoning

For the Sauce:

can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
1 cup
heavy cream
½ cup
grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sauté the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the diced chicken, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.
Add the Tomatoes
Stir in the drained diced tomatoes, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Prepare the Sauce
Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, mixing until melted and the sauce is creamy.
Combine with Pasta
Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the creamy sauce.
Serve and Garnish
