Delicious Garlic Parmesan Roasted Shrimp

- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the Garlic Butter Mixture:
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well.
- Coat the Shrimp:
- Place the shrimp in a large bowl. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Arrange on Baking Sheet:
- Spread the coated shrimp out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the shrimp.
- Roast the Shrimp:
- Roast in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the Parmesan is melted and slightly golden.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side, if desired.
