Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while you prepare the other ingredients.
Step 2: Prepare the Gnocchi
In a large baking dish, combine the potato gnocchi, halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the gnocchi and tomatoes are well coated in oil and seasonings.
Step 3: Add Cheese
Scatter the shredded or cubed mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the gnocchi and tomato mixture.
Step 4: Bake
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tomatoes are roasted.

Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
