Ingredients

Scale

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 4 small corn tortillas
  • 1 lb ground beef, turkey, or chicken
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Mexican blend, or your choice)
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • Optional: Salsa, avocado, or jalapeños for additional toppings

Instructions

Cook the Filling

  1. Brown the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground meat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add Taco Seasoning: Stir in the taco seasoning and follow package instructions, usually adding water and simmering until thickened.

Assemble the Wraps

  1. Lay Out the Tortillas: On a clean surface, lay out the large flour tortillas.
  2. Add the Filling: In the center of each tortilla, layer the cooked meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and any optional toppings.
  3. Add the Small Tortilla: Place a small corn tortilla on top of the filling.

Fold the Wraps

  1. Fold the Edges: Carefully fold the edges of the large tortilla over the small tortilla, creating pleats as you go.
  2. Secure the Wrap: Press down gently to hold the wrap in place.

Cook Until Crispy

  1. Heat the Skillet: In the same skillet, add a little oil and heat over medium-high.
  2. Cook the Wraps: Place the folded crunch wraps seam-side down in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Serve: Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.
