Ghoulish Halloween Cookie Cake

For the Cookie Cake:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (or your favorite mix-ins)
For the Frosting:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Food coloring (green, purple, or any spooky colors)
- Halloween sprinkles or edible decorations (eyeballs, ghosts, etc.)
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Make the Cookie Dough:
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Bake the Cookie Cake:
- Spread the cookie dough evenly into the prepared cake pan.
