Ingredients

Scale

Gather the following ingredients to make your Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites:

  • 1 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy, depending on preference)
  • 1 1/2 cups mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup milk or dark chocolate chips (or your preferred chocolate)
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth melting chocolate)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional, for sprinkling)

Instructions

Prepare the Pretzels:

  1. Lay Out the Pretzels: Start by laying out the mini pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. This will keep them from sticking when chilling.
  2. Stuff with Peanut Butter: Take a small spoon and spread a generous amount of peanut butter between two pretzels to create a sandwich. Gently press them together to seal.

Melt the Chocolate:

  1. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in 20-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, use a double boiler.
  2. Dip the Pretzels: Dip each peanut butter-filled pretzel sandwich into the melted chocolate, covering half to three-quarters of the pretzel. Let any excess chocolate drip off.

Set and Chill:

  1. Let Set: Place the chocolate-dipped pretzel bites back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle with sea salt for added flavor. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
  2. Store or Serve: Once the chocolate has set, your Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites are ready to enjoy. If storing, place them in an airtight container.
