For the Reindeer Pretzels

  • 24 pretzel rods or large pretzel twists
  • 12 ounces chocolate melts (milk, dark, or white chocolate)
  • 24 candy eyes (or mini chocolate chips)
  • 24 red candies (like M&M’s or red chocolate covered candies for the nose)
  • 48 mini pretzel twists (for antlers)
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper

Instructions

Prepare the Chocolate

  1. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate melts according to package instructions, stirring until smooth.
  2. Line a Baking Sheet: Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or spraying it with cooking spray.

Dip the Pretzels

  1. Dip the Pretzel Rods: Dip each pretzel rod (or twist) into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  2. Shake Off Excess: Gently shake off any excess chocolate before placing it on the prepared baking sheet.

Add Decorations

  1. Place Antlers: While the chocolate is still wet, press two mini pretzel twists into the top of each dipped pretzel for antlers.
  2. Add Candy Eyes: Place two candy eyes on each chocolate-dipped pretzel to create the reindeer’s face.
  3. Add Red Nose: Finally, press a red candy onto the front of the pretzel for the reindeer’s nose.

Cool and Set

  1. Let Set: Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature or place in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes until set.
  2. Serve: Once set, your Reindeer Pretzels are ready to enjoy!
