Instructions
Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice.
Mix well until it forms a smooth marinade.
Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish.
Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
Preheat the Skillet
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add a tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet, allowing it to heat until shimmering.
Cook the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade, shaking off excess marinade.
Place the chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on one side until golden brown.
Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Rest the Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the chicken moist.
Serve
Slice the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Serve hot with your choice of sides, such as rice, potatoes, or a fresh salad.
