Steak and Seafood Skillet with Parmesan Cream Sauce

For the Skillet:

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

For the Sauce:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak

  • Season the steak pieces with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Sear the Steak

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the steak and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked to your liking.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp

  • In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Season with salt and pepper, then remove from the skillet and set aside with the steak.

Make the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the minced garlic.
  • Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Add the Parmesan

  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, whisking until smooth.
  • Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Combine the Steak and Shrimp

  • Return the cooked steak and shrimp to the skillet, stirring to coat in the creamy sauce.
  • Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Serve

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
