1 package (12 oz) frozen ravioli (cheese or meat-filled)
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian-style or panko)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Instructions
Prepare the Breading Station
Set Up Breading: In one shallow dish, place the flour. In another dish, beat the eggs. In a third dish, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Bread the Ravioli
Coat Ravioli in Flour: Take a piece of frozen ravioli and coat it in flour, shaking off any excess.
Dip in Egg: Dip the floured ravioli into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated.
Coat with Breadcrumbs: Finally, coat the ravioli in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere. Repeat for all ravioli.
Fry the Ravioli
Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Fry Ravioli: Carefully add the breaded ravioli to the skillet in batches, making sure not to overcrowd. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Drain on Paper Towels: Once cooked, transfer the toasted ravioli to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve
Plate and Garnish: Arrange the toasted ravioli on a serving platter.
Add Dipping Sauce: Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
