Follow these steps to create your Creamy Spaghetti & Meatballs:
1. Prepare the Meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
2. Form the Meatballs: Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet.
3. Cook the Meatballs: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides. Remove meatballs and set aside.
4. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
5. Create the Sauce: In the same skillet used for the meatballs, lower the heat and add heavy cream and marinara sauce. Stir well, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
6. Combine Meatballs and Sauce: Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 5-10 minutes until heated through.
7. Mix in the Pasta: Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce and meatballs.
8. Add Cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and cover the skillet for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
9. Serve: Once everything is well combined and heated, remove from heat.
