Ingredients

Scale

Gather these ingredients to make your Valentine’s Day Sugar Cookie Fudge:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated)
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles (red, pink, or heart-shaped for Valentine’s Day)
  • Extra sprinkles for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Fudge Mixture:

  1. Melt the Butter and Sugar: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract (if using), and salt. Stir constantly until the sugar dissolves completely, and the mixture becomes smooth and bubbly.
  2. Add Sweetened Condensed Milk: Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and continue to stir until the mixture is smooth and combined.
  3. Add White Chocolate Chips: Turn off the heat and add the white chocolate chips to the saucepan. Stir until the chips are fully melted and the mixture is silky smooth.
  4. Mix in Flour: Gradually stir in the heat-treated flour, making sure it’s well incorporated. The mixture should start to thicken slightly as the flour absorbs the liquids.

Set and Chill the Fudge:

  1. Add Sprinkles: Stir in half of the sprinkles, saving the rest for topping the fudge.
  2. Transfer to a Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared dish and spread it into an even layer.
  3. Chill the Fudge: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the fudge is firm and set.

Serve and Enjoy:

  1. Cut and Garnish: Once the fudge is set, remove it from the fridge and lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut the fudge into squares and top with the remaining sprinkles for a festive touch.
  2. Serve: Arrange the pieces on a plate or in a gift box to share with friends, family, or that special someone.
